The WIAA released the top-half of Sectional No. 4 on Monday afternoon, which included four Flyway teams.
Laconia is the No. 1 seed and has a first-round bye. The Spartans (15-3) are on a three-game losing streak after an undefeated start. In last week's poll, Laconia was ranked second in the state.
Winnebago Lutheran Academy is the No. 5 seed. WLA (10-7), which is currently in fourth place in the conference, will host Markesan at Ray Seibel Field next Thursday. The Hornets are 7-12 and in fifth place in the Trailways-North.
Omro is the No. 9 seed and will travel to Wautoma next Thursday. The Foxes started the year 7-2 but have dropped six of their last eight games to slide to 9-8.
The winner of Omro and Wautoma will earn the right to play top-seeded Laconia on May 28.
St. Mary's Springs have had a tough season in league play and were given the No. 10 seed. Springs will open postseason play at Lourdes Academy next Thursday.
Despite their underwhelming Flyway season, the Ledgers (6-11) have already knocked off Kohler earlier this season 13-0; the Blue Bombers are the region's fourth-ranked team. Senior Max Bauer threw the shutout in that meeting.
If Springs is able to upset Lourdes, the Ledgers will match up with the second-seeded and state-ranked Cedar Grove-Belgium.
The other team of note is No. 3 Green Lake/Princeton, which is 13-3 this season.
The bottom of Sectional No. 4 features both Lomira and Mayville from the Flyway.
Campbellsport is part of Sectional No. 4 in Division 2. The Cougars were rewarded with the No. 3 seed and will have a first-round bye.
They are in a region with two of the top-seven teams in the state, including Division 2's No. 1-ranked Pewaukee. Kettle Moraine Lutheran is seventh.
The Cougars will open play on May 28 against the winner of the game between No. 6 Catholic Memorial and No. 11 Milwaukee School of Languages.
North Fond du Lac will also compete in Division 2; the Orioles are in No. 2.
