Despite finishing runners up in the Flyway, the co-op of Lourdes/Valley Christian dominated the first team all conference team with five players, including the player of the year.
The Knights had one of the best defensive records in the state, for they gave up just 10 goals on the season, but they did not give up a single goal in conference play.
That led to Lourdes/VC earning two first team defenders in Bennett Pecore and Noah Bolorsuh and the first team goalkeeper Will Loker. Pecore was also voted the conference player of the year.
The Knights also had two of the top attackers in the conference. Isaac Rucinski led the Flyway with 46 points and teammate Kaleb Richardson was third with 42 points. Players earn two points for a goal and one for an assist.
The United, a co-op of NFDL, Oakfield and Springs, won the conference and earned three first team selections. Freshman Aldo Ceballos was a unanimous first team attacker and was the only freshman to earn first or second team honors.
United also had Yovani and Benjamin Avila earn first team selections.
Winnebago Lutheran finished third in the league. Vikings' seniors Kolby Trewin, a midfielder, and Carter Heinzelman, a defender, were first team selections.
Central Wisconsin Christian senior Jaden Oosterhouse was a unanimous first team attacker. He scored 11 goals and racked up 26 points despite playing as a midfielder for the Crusaders.
Wayland Academy's Long Pham was the final first team member. Pham was second in the league in both goals, 20, and points, 43.
