Addison Maurer was dealing in the circle against Winnebago Lutheran Academy.

The senior pitcher gave up just one hit in Laconia's 8-0 win on Tuesday afternoon from the Fourth Street Youth Baseball Fields.

Maurer was dominant. She struck out 12 batters, including seven straight from the second through the fourth innings.

Maurer allowed just four baserunners all afternoon, which included two walks and a hit batter. WLA (0-2 overall, 0-2 Flyway) got it's only hit from junior pitcher Maddie Anhalt.

Sophomore right fielder Aubrey Maurer was the driving force offensively for the Spartans (4-2, 1-1). She hit a 3-run home run with one out in the first inning. She also walked and scored in the third.

Shortstop Emma Bohn went 3-for-5 with a double and she scored twice from the leadoff spot.

The Vikings loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the seventh. Maurer got WLA sophomore Kylah Simon to ground into a 6-2-3 double play, getting Addy Suprenand at the plate.
