Three Ledgers selected to all state

Ellie Judkins, Tyler Hoffmann and Ben Baker each added to their already impressive list of postseason accolades this week.


Judkins and Hoffmann were players of the year in the Flyway conference in soccer and golf, respectively.


The Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association released the girl's all-state awards on Monday afternoon. Judkins was selected as honorable mention all-state.


Judkins finished tied for ninth in the state with 23 assists.


St. Mary's Springs girls soccer finished ranked No. 7 in the final WSCA poll along with conference and regional championships.


This past Thursday, Hoffmann and Baker were selected to the Wisconsin Golf Coaches Association all-state team as honorable mention picks for Division 3.


The duo anchored Springs during a postseason run that ended with the Ledgers at the state tournament.


Baker led Springs at both regionals and sectionals, shooting a 79 at the Valders Regional and a 72 at the St. Mary's Springs Sectional. He finished runner-up at sectionals to Cambridge's Kian Bystol Flores, who was first team all-state.


Hoffmann finished in fifth place in both the regionals and the sectionals, shooting 83 and 76, respectively.


At state, Hoffmann shot a final-round 83 to finish tied for 20th while Baker clinched a T29.
